Q: How do our practice sessions work?
A: The reining at Stober Livestock is casual....First come first serve, as a rule you are limited to five minutes. However if there is no one waiting take your time stay as long as you like.
If you are having problems and others are waiting... be courteous and stop and ask your fellow Reiners for a few more minutes...
A: Herd practice is a prescribed number of fresh cattle, and a time limit ,please ask when you sign up...
In a set with 3 cattle per cutter we will put 12 head in the pen, then after 3 works we will add 3 new cattle as you enter the ring. This way there are no bad draws....
When our practice sessions are small we dont have a time limit, just work your 3 and if you are not done.... cut something that has been worked.
Q: Can I help turn back or hold herd ?
A: Yes, you are welcome to help ! We need you!
Q: If I need to stay over night do you have stalls?
A: We have a few on site stalls and can arrange for some off-site stalls near by at a cost. Call Nancy in advance...
